Bethesda might still be pending to announce anything on Fallout 4 but it does not mean that the game will not get produced. Even with all the secrecy, Fallout fans are certain that Fallout 4 will be making its debut on the Xbox One and PS4 when released.
Then again, Fallout 4 won’t be featuring high-end graphics when played on the latest gaming hardwares. This is because the game will be developed on Elder Scrolls Skyrim’s game engine. Of course, this is if Bethesda develops Fallout 4 like Fallout 3, which was based on Elder Scrolls Oblivion’s game engine.
While Skyrim’s graphics might be one of the best when it was launched back in the days, it is not expected to look above average when played on the Xbox One and PS4. Heck, it will only be decent-looking at best.
The chances for Bethesda to produce a new game engine for Fallout 4 is slim since doing so will require huge revenue and lots of time for development. Besides, having the sequel running on Skyrim’s system will make it easier for Bethesda to produce Fallout 4.
