It hurts to be a Fallout fans as they have been deprived from any information on the game’s development by Bethesda. Things are no better with the rumours as the latest word suggests that Fallout 4 has been cancelled from production.
The rumours indicated that Bethesda has been trying to turn Fallout 4 into an MMORPG title but their move stumbled was blocked by Fallout’s original creator, Interplay Entertainment.
Bethesda is ultimately upset by this as they can’t do as they please with Fallout 4, despite the fact that the game developer has fully acquired the Fallout franchise from Interplay. As such, Bethesda has discarded Fallout 4 and opted to proceed with the production of Elder Scrolls VI.
Of course, the above is merely based on rumours and they are best taken with a pinch of salt. To see Bethesda discarding a highly profitable franchise seems unlikely. As it stands, fans can continue to believe that Fallout 4’s debut is imminent.
