Bethesda might have yet to announce anything on Fallout 4 but there is no doubt that the game will be making its debut on both the Xbox One and PS4. With the game being optimized for the latest gaming hardwares, Fallout fans are hoping for a mesmerizing experience in Fallout 4.
On the other hand, it is a mistake to think that Fallout 4 is going to look splendid on the latest gaming consoles. While Fallout 4 might come with tons of contents and feature, it won’t be coming with high-end graphics.
This is evident if fans are to look at Fallout 3. The previous title was built on Elder Scrolls Oblivion game engine, thus, making it look decent but not great. If the pattern is to follow, then Fallout 4 will surely be developed on Elder Scrolls Skyrim’s game engine.
Skyrim might be one of the best looking games on the Xbox 360 and PS3 but if it is to be played on the Xbox One and PS4, the game will only look average at best. As such, Fallout 4 is not expected to look mesmerizing when played on the latest gaming consoles.
Also, it is unlikely for Bethesda to produce a new game engine for Fallout 4. After all, doing so will require tons of money and time. Besides, having Fallout 4 running on Skyrim’s mechanism will make it easier for Bethesda to produce the title.
