The Fallout series is set in the mid-1900s era where the world had just suffered a nuke war and players play to survive the chaotic post-nuke world. This is why it is important for Bethesda to introduce new weapons that has the design from 1950s in Fallout 4.
By this, I am suggesting bows and arrows that are made from bronze and designed like mini-pistols. There can’t be many guns since the nuclear war has destroyed most modern weapons.
Also, the weapons in Fallout 4 must be more interactive. Maybe, players should be able to apply the toxic in the wasteland onto their weapons to grant bonus damage. Having such interactivity will surely make Fallout 4 more realistic.
Of course, this is just my idea for Fallout 4. With Fallout 3 being superb, I am worried that the future sequel can’t match its offerings. What do you think?
