In the past, the one way you would actually wish a person Happy Birthday is to actually remember their birthday but thanks to Facebook, you don’t have to remember them anymore, just check your notifications and wish away.
If checking your notification and heading to the person’s page to wish them is too much work for you, Facebook is making it even easier now. The upgraded Facebook Messenger app will now remind you of birthdays on the app and you can wish them a personal note right there from the app.
Facebook also revamp the home screen of the app by adding a row of favourite contacts at the bottom. The app will also display the people that are using the Messenger app so that you can start chatting with people that you have not talked to in a while.
No announcement was made on when the update will be arriving.
