Facebook has long served the masses as the ideal social networking platform. Unfortunately, things are awry for Facebook users since the social network firm adopts a new privacy policy.
In detail, the uninformed policy actually gives Facebook rights to track users’ internet activity, even after they have signed out from their profiles. As such, this put personal information like banking accounts and passwords at risk of being detected by Facebook.
The new privacy policy was in effect since last week and it was only discovered when a query was made to Facebook. The confirmation by the social network itself was made public and condemned by government bodies worldwide.
Many are now unhappy with how Facebook is not transparent with its users and how the company is able to tweak policies for its personal interest. Clearly, the internet is now really an unsafe place to share personal information.
