Evasi0n iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak Unchained With iPad 5 & iPad Mini 2 Out

Rumour has it, the iOS 7 jailbreak from the Evasi0n team was held back due to the Evad3rs wanted to wait until Apple had released the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.

“Even if we manage to make everything work, the time for a release must be chosen carefully,” tweeted @pimskeks, one of the Evad3rs on early October.

Other than that, evad3r @planetbeing said that it was too early to think about the release date since the Evad3rs had no idea what kind of update that Apple would push out. If the update contains a patch for the exploit that the Evad3rs had been working on, the whole jailbreaking work would totally change and the announced release date would have no point.

When iDevices owners had been speculating that the iOS 7 is too secured and the jailbreakers would not be able to create a jailbreak, @planetbeing went on twitter and tweeted;

“(For a while), people assumed there was never going to be a jailbreak and all the hackers were lying in a pile defeated somewhere. Now I’ve said something positive, and people are assuming it’ll be out in a few days.”

The Evad3rs had not yet gave up on their untethered jailbreak and had been convincing iDevices owners that they were confident that the jailbreak will be ready soon and that they were working hard to make one. The Evad3rs told that they might have all the pieces for the jailbreak but they still need time to put them together.

Evad3r @pod2g even tweeted;
“Don’t expect a jailbreak next week people.”

But now the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 had been released, still no untethered iOS 7 jailbreak. The Evad3rs had told that the jailbreak would be out before the year ends. All iDevices owners who had been waiting for the jailbreak could do now is keep their fingers crossed and hope that the Evad3rs would release the jailbreak soon.
