The iOS 7.1 has been released very recently and it didn’t take long until Winocom unveiled the jailbreak for this latest firmware.
The hacker shared a video demonstrating his iPhone 4 running on the latest iOS 7.1. The jailbreak appears to work on the iPhone 4, the 4th gen iPod Touch and the first gen iPad.
The newer iPhones and iPads are still pending to see a jailbreak and it is not easy for these devices. It seems that the processor is the roadblock which hackers have to go through.
The worst is with the iPhone 5S and 5C. It took Evad3rs quite some time to produce the iOS 7 jailbreak which revealed the difficulty on the matter. Nevertheless, Evad3rs won’t be looking to make the iOS 7.1 jailbreak this time round and will return for the iOS 8.
Now, it is all in the hands of Winocom, iH8sn0w and many more to produce the iOS 7.1 jailbreaks. Apple is probably biting their tongue on this one after teasing the jailbreakers that the iOS 7.1 is unbreakable.
