The latest iOS 7.1.1 left the jailbreak community craving for an untethered version of it and in less than a week, their wish was granted by 7jailbreak.com.
The website appears to be offering iPhone users the iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak which surprises the world as the timing was too soon.
However, the claims made by 7jailbreak appear to be nothing more than a hoax. For starters, the website revealed that there is no need to connect the iPhone to a PC. Instead, a single app will automatically take the device to the next level.
On another note, 7jailbreak claims that it was created by Joshua Hill. Unless you’ve heard, he has been a needle in Apple’s butt and better known as POSixninja. Joshua responded by revealing that he played no part in the iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak and warned the fans against downloading it.
More importantly, the app downloaded is nothing more than an adware which destroys the iPhone. This is very low from the developer as the mysterious entity tapped on the popularity of the subject to make more money.
If there is anyone that can crack open the iOS 7.1.1, it is with Evad3rs. Of course, the team of hackers showed no interest with the iOS 7.1 and will return for the iOS 8. Although Pod2g did say that if he has free time to kill, he will look into it.
