The iOS 7.1.1 has caused nothing but chaos in the jailbreak community. Apple revealed that their latest mobile OS is built with security in mind. This means that jailbreaking the iPhones won’t be possible.
Apple does make a strong point and it might be true as well. There might not be any jailbreak being developed for the iOS 7.1.1. Even jailbreak creator, Evad3rs, have gone out to warn the jailbreak users from updating their device.
However, instead of the security reason, it seems that the jailbreakers couldn’t be bothered with the iOS 7.1.1. This is due to the timing of its release. Just 2 weeks ago, Apple already started talking about iOS 8. As such, Evad3rs refused to mingle on something that is going to get updated in quick succession.
As of this moment, only those with an iPhone, iPad or iPods running on the A4 processor can get the jailbreak. Winocm has successfully produced them. Those on the A5 processor and above, it is best to wait for the iOS 8.
