It has been a month since Apple rolled out the iOS 7.1.1 and it has been causing a lot of unrest among the jailbreak community. This is until today, when Evad3rs finally went public to address this latest mobile system.
The team of hackers came out to warn the jailbreak users against updating their iPhones, iPads and iPod devices to the iOS 7.1.1. While the voice from Evad3rs came to the relief of many, it is disappointing that they never hint on any jailbreak coming. This fuels the speculations more that there won’t be an iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak at all.
Meanwhile, iPhone users can only rely on unlocking their device. This can be done with a tool developed by the Unlock-Jailbreak team and it change the smartphone’s IMEI. This way, users can still access Cydia even when on the iOS 7.1.1.
As for Evad3rs, it seems that the team couldn’t be bothered about the iOS 7.1.1. Instead, they prefer to look ahead towards iOS 8, which has just been unveiled during WWDC last week.
