This of course left people wondering whether we would see a jailbreak for iOS 7.1 arrive on the scene. While the team said to avoid iOS 7.1 they didn’t say why, so people assumed that they were not working on the jailbreak.
Of course we have seen jailbreaks offered for iOS 7.1 from other websites, one said that that their solution would unlock the iPhone 5s, 5c and 4s when running on iOS 7.1. This solution came from Unlock-Jailbreak Team and it was said to manipulate the IMEI of the iPhone. This granted use of Cydia while being able to use iTunes.
Pod2g said that the team would look into jailbreaking iOS 7.1 if they had time and found themselves with nothing better to do.
