A couple of months ago, Bethesda rolled out its latest creation, Elder Scrolls Online. For the first time in the Elder Scroll’s franchise, the game is developed as an MMORPG which means that players will have to abide by the monthly subscription and are forced to play with other players on an online server.
At the moment, Elder Scrolls Online is only available on the PC and it won’t be anytime soon before they arrive on the next-gen consoles, the Xbox One and PS4. It appears that Bethesda has encountered many issues in porting the game over to the consoles which could drag its release to December this year.
The game developer revealed that they found many difficulties in integrating Elder Scrolls Online on the next-gen consoles. The company added that each consoles has its own network architecture. As such, Bethesda has to tailor Elder Scrolls Online separately, which requires a lot of time.
As the delay looks unavoidable, many recommend fans to start playing Elder Scrolls Online. After all, Bethesda already confirmed that the saved file will be stored on Cloud and can be brought over to the consoles. Furthermore, those who’ve owned Elder Scrolls Online for the PC can purchase the console version for a cheaper price of $20/€14.99/£12.99/AU$20.
