The Elder Scrolls Online has already been released on the PC and it is probably the most played MMORPG title at the moment. Of course, the game could have been bigger if it gets released to the Xbox One and the PS4, which don’t look like happening anytime soon.
It appears that Bethesda has faced a major obstacle in developing Elder Scrolls Online for the new-gen consoles. The game developer revealed that both the Xbox One and PS4 operate on different complex systems that they have to tailor made Elder Scrolls Online for each console.
On the downside of things, Bethesda failed to reveal on how long the delay is. Nevertheless, the company assured fans that they can already start playing Elder Scrolls Online on their PCs as the saved file can be brought forward to the Xbox One and PS4 in the future.
Furthermore, Elder Scrolls Online players on the PC that wishes to play the game on the consoles can do so at a cheaper price of $20/€14.99/£12.99/AU$20. The discount should be able to lessen the burden of owning two copies of the same game.
