There were some talks about Ubisoft announcing a new Prince of Persia game at E3 this year and while Ubisoft did announce a Prince of Persia game, the announcement was definitely not what we were expecting.
Instead of a new Prince of Persia game, Ubisoft announces that they will be offering the Prince of Persia: The Sand Of Time for free. In conjunction with their 30th anniversary, Ubisoft announces that they will be offering one free game every month and the first game to be offered will be the Prince of Persia.
Well, it is nice to replay the old game, it is also a little disappointing that no new Prince of Persia game will be seen. It was initially predicted that the new Prince of Persia game will be coming in to take the place of Assassin’s Creed this year but that did not happen.
The Sand of Time will be available for free for PC gamers this month.
