H.H. Gregg is selling the 16GB entry level Apple iPad Air for $459.99, which means customers can save $40. The Apple iPad Air 32GB and the 64GB Wi-Fi have also had the same price cut.
The 16GB iPad Mini 2012 comes with a discount of $20, it comes in at $27.99 instead of the usual $299.99.
Savings can also be made with Best Buy. They are knocking $100 off the Apple iPad Air and the iPad Mini Retina. This used to be $529.99 and it has now come down to $429.99. This discount also applies to other variations. The Apple iPad Air comes in at $529.99 instead of the usual $629.99.
All of the above prices are based on the fact that you take a two year contract out with either AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.
For better value for money you might want to consider going into the Apple store and picking up a refurbished Apple iPad. You can get the 16GB iPad Air Wi-Fi for $420, while the 32GB version comes in at $510. While the tablets have had other owners they do come with a battery and back that is new.
The drop in prices do seem to suggest that Apple could be about to launch the Apple iPad Air 2 soon. Ming Chi Kuo certainly thinks this to be the case and he had a good track record in being able to predict the moves of Apple.
