Looking at the numbers alone, it is obvious that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat model will have a huge advantage over the Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang but the Mustang is not going to just flip over and give up.
The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang will come in with a V8 engine that will be delivering about 526hp and 429lb ft of torque. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat, on the other hand, will be pushing out about 707hp and 650lb ft of torque thanks to its powered Hellcat engine. Which such a huge difference in ponies, how will the Mustang perform?
Well, the people over at TheBayAreaRacing decided to test it out. They pitted the two against each other in a half a mile race to see how these two would perform. If you had to put your money on one of these models, which will it be?
