With the close beta version of The Division now out, some gamers are saying that the arrival of the new Tom Clancy’s The Division game will be the death of Destiny or, at least, play a part in the death of the game.
Destiny was already on a downward spiral. The game was losing popularity, fast and despite all the upgrades and patches, the developers just can’t seem to convince the gaming community that Destiny is the next MMO game to play. The game was fun but there was no real reason why people wanted to keep playing it.
Things will only go from bad to worse now that The Division is here. Of course, what we seeing now is just a small demo of the game. We still do not know what the game has to offer us and how much content we will be getting out of it. There is a possibility that The Division will end up being the next Destiny and things will start falling apart for them soon after its release.
