A lot of people had very high hopes for Daymer 1998 because it was created by the same people that made the unofficial Resident Evil 2 Remake game but they were slightly let down when the new trailer for the game was release.
After watching the trailer, a lot of people had the impression that they did not have much to show off. It felt like there was only 1 enemy in the trailer and that there are only one or two areas in the game. Others pointed out that it was hard to watch the pistol fire in the game as it seems to have dealt so little damage.
Some Resident Evil fans think that the 1998 in the title was to remind us of the year when the Resident Evil 2 game was released as it feels like an odd year to choose. It is clear that they still have a lot of work to do so hopefully things will get better from here.
