COD Ghosts Devastation DLC Review: Definitely A Wallet Opener

We are in April 2014 and Activision arrived in time to roll out the second DLC to the highly successful Call of Duty Ghosts game.

The DLC titled Devastation brings with it 4 new multiplayer maps, a brand new weapon and a new content with Extinction. The 4 maps are identified to be the following:

1. Ruins

It looks to be a replica of the Aztec temple. The special thing about it is that the highly popular movie character, Predator, is made playable here.

2. Behemoth

It is basically a setting in a huge machine which encourages sniping, close quarter battles and ambushes. Camping is very restricted here.

3. Collision

This is the simplest of the four new maps and due to its smaller size, snipers will have a hard time in it. Most combats are expected to be involving close quarter shootouts.

4. Unearthed

Taking place in a construction site, the map is well balanced and players can also have fun swinging on the cranes. It is basically mayhem if playing on it.

Then there is the introduction of a new weapon. It is a SMG called The Ripper. This new weapon is automatically a fan-favourite as it accurate, table and quick to reload. The downside is that The Reaper won’t do so well in huge maps.

Finally is the new content to Extinction. Like the zombie mode in Black Ops, Extinction offers a different gameplay to Call of Duty Ghosts. The DLC adds in a whole new episode for fans of Extinction to play with.

All in all, the Devastation DLC is worth every penny and COD Ghosts community should hurry and grab it. There is no wrong that will come with it as it actually makes the game much more awesome to play.
