The loophole in the safety system of the car is turning the Chevrolet Spark into a thief magnet and that is why Chevrolet is issuing a recall to bring them back in.
The Chevrolet Spark is not the only one affected by the recall. Besides the 2013 -2015 Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet will also be recalling the 2013-2016 Chevrolet Trax and 2013-2016 Chevrolet Sonic.
According to the report, the vehicle will fail to inform the driver that the keys in still in the ignition of the driver wait for more than 10 minutes to open the door after switching off the car. Drivers who forget to take out the key might get their car stolen.
According to Chevrolet, the fix will be to update the audio system software but they have yet to say when the update or fix will be ready for these Chevrolet model so before the fix happens, make sure you pull out the key from he ignition after switching off the car.
