Auto spies manage to get a few shots of the BMW Z4 replacement model when it was taken out for testing and while it was heavily covered up with camo stickers, the spies shots did reveal some details about the BMW Z4 replacement.
Unlike the previous model, it looks like the new model might come in with a soft top instead of the hardtop. Of course, this is only a test mule which means there is a possibility that the production model might end up getting a hardtop.
BMW will be working with Toyota to produce the BMW Z4 replacement. It is believed that the BMW Z4 replacement could be coming in with a hybrid engine taken from Toyota. There were also talks about the BMW Z4 replacement coming in with an all-wheel drive system.
The BMW Z4 replacement will also be sharing a chassis with the upcoming Toyota Supra replacement model.
