The BMW M2 and the Mercedes-AMG A45 both belongs to a different category and has different sizes and is powered by different engines but these two cars are more similar than you think.
The BW M2 will be coming in with a 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine that will deliver about 365hp and 342lb ft of torque. The Mercedes-AMG A45, on the other hand, will be powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that will be delivering about 376hp and 350lb ft of torque. The Mercedes might have more power to offer but the BMW M2 is also lighter so that should help even things out between the two.
