BMW has now announced that their BMW i8 will be getting a new list of colors but not everybody will be able to enjoy them.
According to BMW, the color options will only be offered in the UK. They did not say if they were going to offer these colors in the other markets in the future. BMW i8 customers will be able to choose from 8 new colors. Jave Green, Solar Orage, Frozen Grey, San Marino Blue, Speed Yellow, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Black and Grigio Telesto Pearl.
Besides the new colors, BMW will also be offering a few finishes, metallic, non-metallic and Xirallic. There is also the matte option. The new color will be priced from £5,495.
The BMW i8 will be powered by a 1.5 liter 3 cylinder hybrid engine that will be delivering about 357hp. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will be returning about 76mpg combined.
