Blackberry Takes Down Microsoft With The Help From Ford

Blackberry might have failed when it comes to offering their customers a smartphone operating system that they need but they certainly seem to know what they are doing when it comes to car infotainment system.

After years of having to deal with complaints about their MyFord Touch infotainment system created with the help from Microsoft, Ford has finally relented and decided to drop the MyFord Touch for good. With the help of Blackberry, Ford has now come out with a new infotainment system called Sync 3 that will come in to replace the older MyFord Touch.

The new Sync 3 was created using the QNX system by Blackberry. Their aim was to create a new infotainment system that will be easier to use and understand. The new infotainment system will also recognize some of the easier touchscreen gestures like swipe gestures and pinching to zoom gesture.

The Sync 3 will replace the MyFord Touch and will be available for all 2016 Ford and Lincoln model.
