It is possible that the next COD game to come out could be a 3rd sequel to Black Ops, however it could be something different.
Sledgehammer Games are working with Activision and they were the ones behind the Modern Warfare series of games. If Sledgehammer are on board then we could see Modern Warfare 4.
COD has been going downhill and Ghosts was partly responsible thanks to it not having the next gen experience. Gamers have said that gameplay is repetitive and this is something that is getting worse with each new title. Gamers want Activision to do something about it.
