The developer confirmed that they think the rubber banding has gone thanks to the fact that they went ahead and made updates to their servers.
Fans playing Battlefield 4 have been saying that they are no longer bothered by rubber banding issues; this led to a lot of speculation that DICE must have updated their servers to get rid of the issue.
DICE then confirmed it through Reddit after someone said that there hadn’t been any talk about them making server upgrades.
“Well, server hardware upgrades are technically not part of a software changelog,” said Battlelog producer TheBikingViking.
“The server hardware upgrades would explain why the rubberbanding issues are reported as mostly gone,” they continued.
However some gamers are saying that the issue with rubber banding hasn’t completely gone. Despite this claim the majority of gamers have been giving Battlefield 4 a positive response when asked if rubber banding has been fixed.
So it is looking as though the server upgrades by DICE have had a positive impact on the game.
