When DICE announce that the new Battlefield 1 was going to be set in WW1, were all thought that we will finally be playing a new Battlefield game and is different from what we used to get but it looks like it is still the same.
The game is set in WW1 and we got to admit that it looks great. Everything we saw at E3 was impressive but this is no WW1. Since they mentioned WW1, the fans thought that DICE would slow things down because that it what it was about but instead, they decided to keep the game fast.
We thought that the weapons would make the time period. Some people were even expecting some practical floor combat but DICE wanted none of that. They gave us the same kind of weapon designed to look like WW1 weapon, label them as prototypes and expect us to just go with it.
Basically, this is just the same Battlefield game with a different setting. At least it looks good.
