Well, it is not really new but it is new for the game. Unlike the last few Battlefield games, we will be going back in time to WW1 and because of that, the combat mechanism is also a little bit different now.
EA seems to be playing on the fact that people were coming out with all sorts of weird weapons back in WW1. With that, they manage to incorporate some pretty interesting weapons into the game.
Instead of just fighting with guns, players will also be able to take down their enemy using a saber, bayonet, shovel and club and these were only some of the weapons we saw in the trailer.
Players can also hop on horses and tanks. Mustard gas is also a thing in the game. You can check out the new trailer for Battlefield 1 and see what else you can spot.
