AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Issues Could Just Stay

It is looking like owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with AT&T are in for bad news. The bug that has been plaguing the handset will remain until the carrier decides to launch KitKat 4.4.2 KitKat.

This is a bug that has owners upset as it disrupts the GPS service. A simple switch of the network or change can disconnect the GPS automatically. Owners of the handset find that when they switch from LTE to 4G, the handset disconnects GPS. It also happens when the handset is plugged in to charge or the charger is unplugged.

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have seen this issue for some months now and there still hasn’t been a fix for it. AT&T users have filed a petition on change.org to get the carrier to release a fix for it. AT&T continue to sell the handset without telling customers about the issue.

However with all other carriers this hasn’t been an issue, and it seems that neither Samsung nor Google are to blame for the whole mess.

The carrier said that they will send out the KitKat update to fix the issue, but owners are angry that they have been left waiting for so long for the update to fix the issue.
