Google has launched the all-new Nexus 6 and the device is available on all major carriers here in the US. For those that are planning to purchase the smartphone with AT&T, it is best to get a heads up as the Nexus 6 could be running on a debug build of the Android KitKat.
This is confirmed after some users claimed that their Nexus 6 from AT&T appears to run on the old KitKat out of the box. Well, if that happens, do not reset the device or anything as it is something pretty valuable to the independent developers.
One developer claims that the OS offers a Camera Debugging app that is helpful for ROM device maintainers and a weird looking launcher that is provoking the tech junkies’ curiosity. The KitKat on the Nexus 6 is simply described as a unicorn, inside a unicorn.
With that being said, there are two ways to go about it for the Nexus 6 users with this special OS. They can either get their device fixed through AT&T or they can put it up for auction at eBay. Certainly, something that valuable to the hackers can sell for $2000.
