AT&T HTC One M8 and M9 users were not pleased when HTC announce that they had to delay the Marshmallow update but luckily, the wait is almost over for some of them as HTC has now announced that they will be rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to their AT&T HTC One M9 and M8 users.
The announcement was tweeted by HTC. Of course, just because it begins right now does not mean that all users will be getting it right away. It might take a few days before the update reaches your device so don’t worry if you have not received the update yet.
The Android Marshmallow update will come in with a few extra features besides the new OS including the Doze features which is said to help extend the battery life as well as the new Google Now on Tap feature.
For HTC, the Sense will be upgraded as well.
