Some owners of the Moto G have told us that they are buzzing as they had the Android 5.0 Lollipop notification sent to their handset. This tells them that the update is making its way onto the device.
Owners said that the notification for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Moto G comes with the title of the Future Update and this gives them information about the update and there is a More Info button. Clicking this button allows the owners to check if they have the latest Motorola Update Services installed. Motorola said that they are sending out the update to their newest handsets.
The only device that is said to be having issues is the Moto X 2013 version and it is thought that the issue is with the Snapdragon S Pro processor. There are also some Moto G owners who got Android 5.0 Lollipop when they took part in a soak test.
