Apple is well-known for its great security in technology but it seems that the feature has been on a decline in quality in recent years. Now, things are more problematic after the Apple Watch is discovered to be hackable easily by a thief.
In detail, thieves can now bypass Apple Watch’s passcode to pair a stolen watch with their smartphone. To make things worse, the Apple Watch does not come with Activation Lock which means that thieves can use the device after stealing it just through performing a hard reset.
This is worrying to say the least. The Apple Watch does have a passcode but a bug can immediately remove the security feature. With the discovery turning into a concern, we can only hope for Apple to update the Watch with tighter security.
