The last time Apple gave the MacBook Pro a real spec upgrade was back in 2013 which is probably why everybody thinks that the next MacBook Pro to hit the market will be coming in with an upgraded specs.
It was believed that the Apple MacBook Pro will be coming in with a new Intel chip this time but which. Taobao recently leaked details on what looked like the new Intel Broadwell-EP Xeon chip.
We know how Apple like their customers to be the first. That is why some people are now saying that this Intel chip could be the one that Apple will be using to run their next Apple MacBook Pro. The chip to come with a 20 core E5 processor that is clocked at 2.1 GHz and can be boosted to 3.5 GHz with a combined 50 megabytes of L3 Cache.
Of course, there is no way to confirm it right now so all we can do is wait and see.
