Intel had just announced that it is about to produce 14nm nanochips called Skylake and the processor will be directly replacing the 20nm nanchips called Broadwell. The smaller nanochips is believed to be in its final stages of production and it is expected to be available mid-this year.
Of course, Intel made no promises but they are hoping to officially launch Skylake in June. If so, then there is a huge chance for the next-gen Apple MacBook Pro to come with the revolutionary component.
The next—gen MacBook Pro is expected to get released somewhere in July and if all is well, then Skylake’s release might see Apple making the necessary orders to get the new nanochip into its future laptop.
The outcome will surely be exhilarating since Skylake will be improving the MacBook Pro’s processing speed while also keeping energy consumption at its lowest.
Clearly, Skylake is the dream feature for every consumer that is waiting for the next-gen Apple MacBook Pro. Let’s just hope that it arrives in time for it to feature on the next-gen MacBook Pro.
