The one issue that has stopped a lot of people from getting the new MacBook Pro is the battery-draining bugs. Users started noticing that the MacBook Pro had a shorter batery lifespan compared to what Apple was reporting and CR even stop recommending the laptop because of that.
Apple later announces that their new MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 update will be able to address the issue to make sure the battery life of the device is back to normal but it did now.
Some users reported that the update did not do anything to improve the battery life o of the laptop. It is believed that Apple might be working on a new chip that will help share the burden with the Intel processor so that it does not drain that much battery.
Before that happens, there are a few things you can do to stretch out the battery life of your device. Use Safari instead of Chrome. It is said that watching videos in full-screen model would also help with the battery life as well.
