Later this year, Apple will be rolling out its very first wearable, the iWatch. While the pricing of the smartwatch remains a mystery, we have decided to see how much consumers are willing to splurge on it.
In a recent survey, we discovered that nobody wishes to fork out $350 for the iWatch. When asked on how much consumers are willing to pay for it, more than 30% of them revealed that they will get it if it is priced between $100 and $200.
10% of them will only get it if it is less than $100, 8% wouldn’t mind if it is $200-$300, 15% will consider getting them for no more than $350. As for the rest, they don’t want to own an iWatch.
Knowing Apple, their products are often overpriced and we have a strong feeling that it will cost more than $300. Both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit are priced at $200 and they are selling like hotcakes. Can Apple keep up?
