According to Business Insider, Apple is still having trouble trying to manufacturer the Jet Black iPhones because the suppliers are producing metal sheets that do not meet Apple’s quality standard. Only 70% of them are making it and Apple smartphone production rate has suffered because of that.
Some users seem to think that the supplier is having trouble polishing it as some Jet Black Apple iPhone 7 users have been reporting that their brand new iPhones have some small linear defects that look like sanding marks.
Well, we do not know when Apple will be able to get things under control but be prepared to wait a little longer if the Jet Balck version is what you are going for.
