From what we have been hearing this last few months, it looks like the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus will be coming in with only some minor upgrades but if you think that you will be able to reuse from of the covers for the Apple iPhone 6s and 6S Plus, you will be disappointed.
While it is true that the upgrade might be very minor, there will be enough upgrades to ensure that you will have to get a new cover for the upcoming model. The camera will be larger on the Apple iPhone 7. As for the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, the device will be fitted with a dual camera unit.
According to Mac Otakara, the Apple iPhone 7 could also be getting a longer receiver and that the ambient light sensor could be moved to a new position. All these changes mean the old cover will not fit the new model.
There is not a whole lot of details about the Apple iPhone 7 right now so all we can do now is wait and see.
