We have seen Blackberry tried and fail. Microsoft is still struggling to get their Windows 10 accepted by the public but it look like all of these is not enough to scare off Huawei as new reports are now suggesting that Huawei might be working on an OS of their own.
According to The Information, Huawei is secretly working on a new software that they will be using to compete with Apple and Google. We do now know if this is true or not but if they are really working on one, they might want to find a solution to the whole lack of app issue first.
Lacking in apps has been the main reason why people stayed away from BB10 and Windows 10 phone. The Tizen os by Samsung also had the same problem. It will be nice to see some other OS options other than the two giants we have now but whether it will be accepted by the public or not is a whole other story.
