Smartwatches running on the Android Wear OS are in for a treat. The system has now been updated and now has support for TrackID.
The program is renowned to offer track identifying services through recording bits of the songs via a device’s microphone. The same function is applied on the Android Wear OS.
The TrackID is now available on the Google Play Store and it is free to install. Once done, users can turn on the app and point the smartwatch to any tunes which users are not familiar with. This way, there is no need to pull out a smartphone, thus making it more convenient for the users.
The Apple Watch has yet to offer something similar due to the company’s obsession with health apps. This puts them behind the Android system, when it comes to innovative functions being offered on a smartwatch.
