If you have been following Google closely, you must have known about the Chromecast. It is basically a feature that streams a tab on Google Chrome to the network. Soon, this service will be going mobile.
Many Android smartphones are already built with Chromecast support. The list includes the HTC One M7, LG G2, G2 Pro, Google Nexus 4, 5,7 (2013) and the Nexus 10. On the back page, there are the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, S4 and S5 that also supports Chromecast.
Not long from now, more devices will pick up this trend by getting updated to support this Google feature. Among the most notable smartphone is the Motorola Moto X, which is still pending to get the data for Chromecast support.
At the moment, Chromecast on the Android can be mirrored to other users. This is provided that they are on the same Wi-Fi network. Casting can also be operated on the iOS and Windows-operated devices.
As for the future, users can easily detect other users when the app scans the cellular data. If the scanning fails, users can rely on pins and a Wi-Fi network to connect with each other. No longer is Chromecast content limited to a single medium.
