Good news, Android fans, as the latest 6.1 Marshmallow update has been confirmed. It is reported that after the 6.0.1, Google will be rolling out the Android 6.1 Marshmallow, and it’s going to be a more important update than its predecessors.
Though the reports seem legitimate, it’s still being met with mixed reactions. It all began with a Reddit user who leaked out what seems to be the latest update for Android One through a picture. You can find out more details from here. It still seems legit, so we’re being very hopeful. We’d like to see if it could fulfill all of our expectations because we’re sure it’ll bring tons of new features. It’s all cool.
What we’re likely to see is a new field in the “about” screen, which is the Android security patch level. We’re assuming that the purpose is to be in response to the Android security update criticisms, but other Reddit users seemed skeptical for that new feature. Some claim that the date stated on the feature seems “suspicious”.
Well, suspicious or not, we really do hope that the features would be further enhanced to provide maximum user experience, because truth to be told, that’s what their purpose is, right?
