WWDC has finally been concluded and so have Google’s I/O conference. Both events confirm that there is going to be a new generation mobile OS coming out later this year. For Apple, it is the iOS 9 and for Google, it is the Android Marshmallow. Which is better?
We can’t be certain yet as both systems have yet to go on the market. However, judging from the visuals that were unveiled at the respective events, it seems that the Android Marshmallow looks a lot better.
This is because the Marshmallow is confirmed to offer a dark theme and styling. The upsetting bit is that iOS 9 looks subtly different from iOS 8. This cannot be helped as Apple claims that iOS 9 will focus on stabilizing the system instead of pouring in new features.
Both systems still have many similarities like the photo arrangements. Even so, we still find Android Marshmallow more appealing thanks to the cards-styling which was introduced back with the Lollipop.
It is still too early to name a winner right now so it is better to wait until iOS 9 and Android Marshmallow gets released.
