Android M: It’s A Financial Suicide!

Google has already unveiled the future Android system, Android M. This upcoming OS will be replacing the Android 5.0 Lollipop and it has tons of cool features to offer. However, the Android M does have a huge flaw and that is with the system’s default permission granted to apps.

The thing that bothered us most is the permission called ‘Change_Network_State’. Apparently, apps installed are not required to seek permission for this and it will allow them to turn on and off Wi-Fi independently. The more worrying part is that the app can also get full control of Mobile Data.

This is scary as an uncontrolled application can exhaust a user’s data plan. To make things worse, the uncontrolled app can also incur additional data charges. It basically sums up Android M as a financial suicide.

Of course, it is still too early to be certain just yet. The Google Android M is still in its Beta testing stage and there is still time for Google to change this.
