Last November saw Google releasing the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop and while it might be better than the KitKat, the Lollipop was still not at its best. Soon, this will look to change as Google is preparing to launch the Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The update to the original firmware will make the OS more stable and problem free. This will hence enhance the user’s Lollipop experience and also make it easier for smartphone manufacturer to launch the update to their respective devices.
Among the fixes that will feature in the upcoming update is with the silent mode bug that actually prevents smartphones from going mute. Also, the random crashes on the Android 5.0 will also be addressed with this patch update.
Google has been testing out the Android 5.1 on the Android One smartphone and now that it looks ready, the tech giant will surely launch the update shortly. As such, Android smartphone users should brace themselves as the Android 5.1 update can be launched in any minute now.
