The Google Android 5.1 has been tested on the Spice Android One and now, Google revealed that it is near ready to make its debut. The tech-giant from the US went public earlier today to reveal the changelog for Android 5.1 and it saw the addition of many new features.
Among them includes better support for Dual-SIM devices, device protection, HD voice calling, more Wi-Fi control from Quick Settings, more Bluetooth control from Quick Settings, more Alarm features, new clock app animations, one swipe to close Quick Settings and tons more.
Of course, the Android 5.1 will also introduce many bug fixes like the ones with the Caller ID feature that plagues the Android 5.0. However, Google failed to share if there will be a fix for the memory leak. This is something Android users have been crying out for.
Google simply revealed that the changelog merely covers the major features and there are plenty more contents coming with the update. The Android 5.1 will be looking to debut tomorrow and the update will begin with the Nexus devices.
