Android 5.0 Lollipop: Not So Sweet After All

Last November saw the arrival of the Android 5.0 Lollipop and the OS introduces a brand new design language with tons of new features to offer. Today, however, we are not going to explore on the perks of the Android 5.0 Lollipop but instead, we are going to discuss on its flaws.

As revolutionary as the Lollipop may be, it is still not immune to issues. The first problem with the Lollipop discovered is with the Wi-Fi connectivity. Apparently, all of our Nexus devices are unable to connect to the Wi-Fi on certain occasions.

Then, there is the issue with the video playback. Despite having played the same video before, our Nexus 7 often prompts the clip as an unsupported format. For our Nexus 5, it simply prompts the clip as unplayable.

The third and final issue with the Lollipop is the random crashes. It is tested and proven that whenever a user switches the default language to French-Canadian, the Lollipop-powered device will crash. Similarly, whenever the flashlight feature is activated, the Lollipop will go haywire and crash.

Of course, the above issues are all bug-related and can be fixed through an update. Google has already acknowledged the problems and promised on a fix coming in the future.
