Android 4.4 KitKat Features: Come On Google, This Isn’t Good Enough

The KitKat might be great in many ways but there are also quite a number of flaws with it. One of them is with the way the KitKat handles the camera feature of the smartphone. It simply takes forever to load the camera app. It is also guilty of slowing the focus and over processing images.

Then there is the bug that feeds on the battery. The KitKat was supposed to take energy efficiency to a whole new level. Unfortunately, a bug on the software process, mm-qcamera-daemon, has been plaguing the OS which drains the battery rapidly. In detail, the bug causes the camera to continue running despite being closed. On the bright side of things, Google is aware of this and will create the fix for it.

Finally is with Google’s definition of simplicity. The KitKat OS feels so empty. It lacks content and kept everything to the basics. It can be said as the “Do Not Disturb” function on the iOS. The KitKat should offer its own innovations to its users instead of them having to rely on TouchWiz from Samsung and such.

All in all, the KitKat is an awesome Android OS. There is no denying that it is the best Android to date. However, it is nothing more than a massive improvement, rather than a revolution.
